It is with a sad heart that we confirm Woody Durham died today Wednesday, March 7th, 2018. He was 76. Durham was the voice of the Tar Heels from 1971-2011 and he died from complications from progressive aphasia. A disease that robbed him of that outstanding voice at the end of his life.
